Cultural Festival

Vinayaka Chaturthi, also known as Ganesh Chaturthi or Vinayaka Chavithi, is one of the most important Hindu festivals celebrated in Chamarajanagar district. The festival honors Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and the deity of wisdom, prosperity, and success. Families, temples, and community groups install beautifully decorated Ganesha idols and conduct special prayers and devotional programs.

Dasara celebrations include cultural performances, music concerts, folk dances, exhibitions, and temple events. Schools, colleges, and community organizations participate in organizing programs that showcase the district's cultural diversity and artistic talent.
